Is there seriously one person prepared to invest even £100 in this loan? I'm sure it will fill! Sadly, I think you are right.

Is there seriously one person prepared to invest even £100 in this loan? I will and then immediately sell £90 because I like to have £10 in every loan and I cant prefund £10 !! Thanks James, I will buy £1 of that. I would do the same (prefund £100 then sell £99) but I don't want to add myself to the go-live number of investors for fear of encouraging SS.

Oh, it'll fill alright, easy peasy.
Sooner or later SS' omission of "stuff" is going to catch up with them and bite their posterior and even The Lemmings will turn back from the cliff.

I'm not sure that wealthy people would want to live so close to the M11. You'd be surprised - not necessarily there, but some of the most expensive areas are right on top of other motorways. The two statements are not contradictory.

the sole shareholder of the distressed company is aged 87, the new spv company incorporates her name but has a different sole shareholder

They did at least tell us that it's a related party transaction, and about some of the transgressions of the vendor, which considering that those transgression are (in my opinion) the most discouraging features of the loan (they damage confidence that the borrower will complete the project), should be seen as positive actions on SS's part. The omissions are that the property is being purchased out of receivership, the purchase price, and the amount of developer equity, and from the loan particulars the full facility value (which has been brought to my attention is stated in the letter of instruction), and the personal guarantee value. If it was an unrelated borrower with a successful record as a developer I'd look on the loan with greater favour.

We are all aware that these Borrowers approach P2P Lenders because The Banks/Traditional Lenders have vigorously poked them away with their full quiver of s**ty bargepoles. ( <- Quaint Australian saying .) I'm sure that what angers us (me anyway) is that The Platforms are often in charge of the full facts and are then selective on which of these facts they disclose to us Lenders. Much of the stuff they almost certainly deliberately leave out beggars belief and is tantamount to ..................... This is totally unacceptable of course and I/we have to hope that FCA Compliance will remedy this, it's more than a simple "omission". Apologies for going off topic.

the sole shareholder of the distressed company is aged 87, the new spv company incorporates her name but has a different sole shareholder And the sole director and shareholder of the new company who supposedly is highly experienced in property development and investment appears to be 20 years old. So from the VR and companies house (interesting reading ) grannies company goes down the tubes with outstanding loans having been pulled by a lender and having tried it on with the planning consent, "hello PBL081" and presumably ran out of reddies. Where did the wealth go when they needed it ? Now the plan is to buy it out of receivership and do it right this time ! And this is a 9% low risk loan! savingstream and Paul64 please take note History matters! Also please stop your people using bulls**t phrases like "The ultimate beneficial owner is a member of a wealthy family, which has significant experience in property development and investment." Doesn't impress anyone! The family member may have no personal wealth , would never risk their own money anyway and where is the evidence of significant experience.

Just 'gone' - looks like £3,320 was the allocation Edit: I wonder how many peeps are thinking: 'Oh ... I really didn't want that much of this!' 2nd Edit: the obvious answer to my own question is anyone with an allocation more than £1 Yes I had an pre-funding of £10,000k, and £3,320 was the allocation. Along with £430 allocation on DFL005 again pre-funding £10k. So that's £3,750 to loans sale to resolve negative balance, plus £3,320 of this to anyone tomorrow. Then a withdrawal of £3,320 to move elsewhere.
