At the moment there are 2 shown to be offering loans on Grupeer. Solut www.solut.lv/This seems to be similar to Capitalia on Mintos. Looking at some details it seems that some loans are relying on personal guarantees and the businesses can have negative equity, indicating that they are insolvent but continuing to trade. They are offering a buyback but some loans seem very high risk. Kurtour gmbh kurtour-agentur.de/A Travel Agent offering a series of loans which seem to be all to the same borrower to cover the cost of developing a business, which I expect is Grupeer itself, with valuations based on the amount spent to finance the development cost. Presumably in the same ownership. Is there anything here that I have not understood correctly?

JamesFrance, Kindly read our official welcome note in the beginning of the thread and my further comments. We do not deny the fact that there is a German real estate development company behind the Platform that will provide investment deals, secured with real estate collateral. As regards Solut – yes, this is a non-bank lender, specialized in purpose business loans that are usually not large, short-term and secured with personal guarantee and/or company assets. All deals offered on our Platform passed scoring and compliance procedures, and Credit Originator scoring is provided by an independent company – AG Capital. We place only deals that considered to be secure enough, with good scoring. The total amount of credit deals provided by Solut also has been approved by AG Capital, taking into account Solut performance. However, again, we do not deny the fact that all investments, even the best ones, are exposed to a certain level of risk (please see FAQ on our homepage for more information). There will be much more offers from different credit originators placed on our Platform in the nearest time, as well as some new products will appear. At the moment the range of offers is limited as we just started. Anyway, in our opinion, investments in business loans are more secured, as there is a more thorough assessment of borrower’s solvency compared to “instant” personal loans. But it is always up to the investor to choose the category of investment he prefers.

Hi,
Sorry, but you did not answer the second part of the question - are you really financing your own website on your own website? How would the collection process look like, in case there is some trouble?
