Am I being think with my quick calculations. If I get 25% bonus each year (assuming under 50) then should the XIRR be 25% all of the time?
Tax Year Contribution Bonus Balance 06/04/2017 4000 1000 5000 06/04/2018 -5000 XIRR = 25%
Tax Year Contribution Bonus Balance 06/04/2017 4000 1000 5000 06/04/2018 4000 1000 10000 06/04/2019 -10000 XIRR = 15.83%
Tax Year Contribution Bonus Balance 06/04/2017 4000 1000 5000 06/04/2018 4000 1000 10000 06/04/2019 4000 1000 15000 06/04/2020 -15000 XIRR = 11.56%

You're not getting a 25% bonus each year. The bonus is only applied to the new contribution that you make in the year. No further bonus is paid on money you invested in previous years.
