Our Expectations, What do we need from the Portals?

I was reminded that Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus" was first published on 11 March 1818, and rather than waiting for the bicentenary next year, considered running a "Frankenstein's Platform" type poll / questionnaire next week where everyone nominated their favourite provider which best fulfilled particular aspects of the overall platform function: Deal Flow, Rates, Comms, SM, Fund Transfers and so on.

However, seems you beat me to the punch, so I'll see how this plays out unless forumites consider it worthwhile hiving that aspect off under a different thread?
