Does anyone else reconcile their Collateral transactions in detail ? Having been away from a proper computer (and excel) all last week I'm only just updating everything ........... It appears I've been credited with too much interest March 1st - still only on a toe-dip on the platform so we're only talking the princely sum of 50p, but I don't like things I can't account for. Looks like I've had interest payments on parts sold in Dec 16 (all of them) and Jan 17 (only a couple) - None of which have paid since being sold. Collateral Rep FYI - maybe a bug in the system ? Just me, random or others ? I'll email info@collateraluk.com, probably tomorrow, with the details so you can investigate. (apologies to anyone who's noticed but kept quiet )

Great to see honest people letting sites know of an issue.

Hi treeman, Just to add, when you sell a loan part on the SM the capital is paid back immediately but the interest is paid on the 1st of the month. Many thanks, Gordon

Hi treeman , Just to add, when you sell a loan part on the SM the capital is paid back immediately but the interest is paid on the 1st of the month. Many thanks, Gordon Hi Collateral Rep, Yes, thanks for that - though I was already aware of the differences in interest payments of sold vs repaid parts. By way of explanation, I only set up the spreadsheet a couple of weeks ago and 1st March was the first proper reconciliation I've done. As someone else mentioned on another thread I'd previously only worked on an 'about 1%' cursory check. However, Collateral is on my (very) shortlist for re-deployment of SS funds that are looking likely to become homeless in the near future-so I need to be able to do a full monitoring job, as on all my larger investment platforms. So, having fiddled and tweaked with the sheets, and looked a bit harder, it seems that the payments in question are actually late and making up for payments which should have happened Jan 1st and Feb 1st. Parts sold in Dec 16, didn't get final interest 1st Jan 17 and a couple of parts sold Jan 17 didn't get final interest 1st Feb 17. These were the 'extras' that surprised me on the March 1st transactions. Was this something you were aware of, Gordon? Would you still like me to email the details? Shows the benefit of a proper check .......... Till next month

I performed an irregular, cursory check on the 1st and found that I'd not been credited with interest for two loans where all holdings were sold during February. After emailing details of this shortfall I was shortly credited with interest for these two loans...... plus, and totally unrequested, interest for a loan sold in January where no interest had been paid on 1st Feb. Well done, and thanks to Gordon, or whoever else was responsible. The extra 15p will no doubt be reinvested in due course!

Hi treeman, The developers found the issue but are continuing to monitor through the next interest payment date. Many thanks, Gordon
