I don't think any of them know what they are doing in this one. First payment:
e.g FC say "The borrower has confirm that he has made a payment today. We are waiting for the funds to clear into our account. Wed 30th April 16:26"
That is dated four days before the first payment was even due!

ISTR, from comments elsewhere, something along the lines of FC getting the DD (or whatever) 4 or 5 days before the due /distribution date, not quite sure why (maybe it takes their abacus 4 or 5 days to chop it up and distribute it!?). Presumably that means that someone at FC knows what is going to go late long before we punters find out?!

Something very odd going on, and this was one of the cashback loans - I wonder why that was and if it's all connected in some way. If it gets cleared up next week I'll let an autobidder have the joy of 58 more late payments to come.

Something odd is going on. I have four loans that are recently late, 5104, 5159, 5635 and 5684. 5104 is for the chop and has just paid and supposed to have been processed - the 'sagacious operator' on the other inferior forum has queried where the cash is. According to my rules I should chop the other three if they pay, and one of those three also has but I do not have the cash. Two of them were declared late today, due on 3rd and late on Saturday 7th - but I would not call that late till Monday - four working days late in paying the lender. I will look carefully at these three because they could be just handling problems - autochop suspended.

It is indeed odd. I seem to have an awful lot of problems with borrowers making their second payments! 5684 seemed to have an impeccable credit score; I would be surprised to see problems so soon. Not a peep out of FC on this one since the borrower was apparently late on the first payment

Yes too many words like 'technical error' 'adminstrative error' 'technical issue'. Three of my four have paid up and two are being kept rather than sold for going late. On 5684 I will wait and see, but cannot imagine that it will not be paid and hope to keep it also. 5104 is 'on its bike' so try not to buy mine.

Apparently they've now made a manual payment. Do I brutally toss them to the lions, ruthlessly citing the "two faults" rule, or give 'em another chance?

Me too. They are not taking the loan seriously. No mitigating circumstances. My rules say sell, if I have the chance.
