I've just noticed that CH have launched a new email alert service that can be used to monitor an unlimited number of companies. You have to set-up a free account, but once set-up you can just click a button on a company's main page on CH and it will be added to your watch list and an email will be sent to you alerting you of any new filings in rea time (allegedly). A very useful resource for helping with ongoing DD of existing borrowers although I imagine trying to tie back a company to one of my hundreds of borrowers is going to be a bit of a mission! Well but you could at least track platform filings. Also I think that most of the filings will be of little interest. It would be useful if one could select the type of filing to follow, too, e.g. just accounts filed.

It would be useful if one could select the type of filing to follow, too, e.g. just accounts filed. True, it would be more useful if you could specify precisely which filings are monitored. However, I think that most filings are useful (and generally material hence the regulatory requirement for them to be filed) - the vast majority relating to changes in directorships/registered office/registered charges which are often early warning signs of change (although admittedly hard to tell if for the better or worse). In fact the only common filings that seem relatively useless are changes in director's addresses.
