Dear fundingsecure At a conference stand one day I listened to how FS intend to offer borrowers a better customer service proposition. Now that you have grown the loan book significantly I hope you will also entertain some suggestions to enhance the investor experience:
- "My Investments" export to .csv / .xls
Please make a .csv or excel export available for our open loan positions as viewed in "My Investments" - most other p2p platforms offer this. The available transactions export isn't much help in this regard. Please bear in mind that most of your larger investors need to monitor their exposures across multiple platforms, and this is only possible by extracting portfolio loan data from each platform.
- Borrower Reference
It is getting very difficult to monitor cumulative exposure to a single borrower across multiple loans, whether that be multiple toy train loans or 8 tranches of a single development in Surrey. Adding a unique borrower reference would not compromise anonymity, and would permit investors to monitor their cumulative exposure.
- Subordination
Please highlight the loan attachment points for any subordinated loan/tranche or add to the Loan Overview. For example, "Tranche 2: 25-50% LTV", for the case where there is a prior charge to 25% of the collateral value and the second loan takes the LTV up to 50%. This would be a huge improvement on the current inconsistent text descriptions.
- LTV variations
It would be helpful to see the LTVs described when multiple valuation opinions are provided - 180 days, 90 days and GDV
None of these suggestions are unreasonable, and from a technical perspective they are no more than what many platforms already offer. They will also assist you in persuading the FCA that your investors are fully aware of the risks they are running and that they are able to monitor their portfolio risk on an ongoing basis. I'm sure my fellow investors will add further suggestions to this thread.

A split of SM purchases between premium/discount and interest bought so account can be reconciled to cash, similarly interest paid split between bought/earned.

So yesterday some of the loans appeared just before the due time (can't remember where I read that). I was watching the clock and Oldham appeared at 14:59 precisely.
In the context of this thread, it would be an enhanacement if loans went live at exactly the expected time, especially if they are small popular ones.

The gold sovereigns did the same the other day, looks like FS need a more accurate clock

Would be nice if we can either deposit less than £5 or not invest in multiples of £25. Today I received £21.18 interest and I'm stuck. I don't really want the £21.18 sitting around or withdraw it or deposit another £28.82

That would leave you with just £1.18 sitting around. If that really bothers you, withdraw that. (There doesn't seem to be a minimum withdrawal amount.)

Maybe I'm just missing it but there doesn't seem to be any way to see what premium/discount your SM loan parts sold for. It would also be nice if the loan IDs on the secondary market history page were links.

fundingsecureIt's been asked for before, and it surely can't be too difficult to show:- Current investment amount in each loan displayed on the "My Dashboard" and "Available investments" screens. Even as a hover message on the "You have invested in this loan" icons would be better than nothing? Thank-you.

Hi fundingsecure , do you think we could have a 'cancel pending withdrawal' button? At the moment it seems me withdrawing funds is inextricably linked to some sexy new loan appearing moments later. I think it would be a good thing for all parties if we had that option.

It is something we have considered - and it is on the list of things to add. The only snag is if someone cancelled a request - just at the time we make the bank transfer. For that reason, .uit has to be a two-stage process - requesting cancelling - which then has to be authorised. It will be added, just not high on the priority list.
In the meantime, an email to customerservices will get a request to withdraw a cancellation actioned.

Funding secure, what is on the list? I am just not available at the minute loans go live so would appreciate a pre-funding option similar to Lendy. If I could also specify some additional criteria such as maximum LTV that would be even better.
