It was only today that I noticed how similar my avatar was to the late and great Eric Morecombe (a comedian for those too young...) and that jevans 4949 had apparently gone for Eric's partner (in the old sense of the word) Ernie Wise.
A quick look through the member list shows many amorphous avatars, and one or two rather disturbing images. Would those who haven't bothered yet care to go for a celebrity and let us guess who? For those with the disturbing images - who were you modelling it on?

Go on then - how's your memory, and how old are you? I'm a sprightly 57 so I don't recognize the avatar. I could have googled it but that would have spoiled your fun. Let's see if anyone (not those who know you from the ZOPA forum) knows.

Apparently one's avatar can be modified without one's permission! I feel ... well I don't know how I feel actually. I may have to sign up for avatar defacement counciling.

Sorry about that Nick: couldn't resist: looks like you've managed to reset it. Your prior one is still there to be reinstated. At least I PM'd you to let you know.

Well that didn't get me very far - what's the trick? For future reference ... Right-click on UncleTone's picture and save it locally. Go to tineye.com and "Upload" that picture, then let them search for duplicates (or similar) on the InterWeb ...
