We've always known 'Lendy' but never really been exposed to that side of the business. As a marketing and branding expert, don't you think it's a bit naff Pauly ? ( Paul64)

So who dreamed up the name "Lendy" in the first place ? Doesn't exactly ring of professionalism imo , in fact it sounds pretty infantile if I'm being honest. Kind of place where Noddy would go for financial advice, perhaps ? Not as bad as "Thing"

Paul Why not tell us here (you know... engage with the community a bit?). Or I guess you could reply to 100s of irrelevant e-mails with the story about the how Tim & Liam once got drunk and blurt out random company names*... *disclaimer; that probably didn't happen

Happy to give some insight into our thinking if you drop me a line via our Contact Us service. I look forward to hearing from you. Paul Thanks Paul. What is the thinking behind this hybrid new loan PBL84 & PBL166 Scottish Estate by Lendy? To get up to speed I'll quote the discussion so far; Over 100k of the 1C on SM which is meant to be extended by the same term. You would have thought so.
My guess is that it (PBL084) will probably be extended when PBL166 is actually drawn down.
Well if it isn't extended, then we going to have an interesting scenario of the first part defaulting, while the second part is still in +ve days. Currently as it now stands, the difference between the life of the two loans, is 207 days... Perhaps it would then be called a hybrid default? To be honest, I can't quite make out what is going on here. Will PBL84 be extended or not? If it isn't, in a few weeks time, the first loan could be in default and the second part will still be in positive days. Please explain the Lendy thinking on this. Thanks in advance.

On the basis that it is a loan that defaults and not a borrower, it would seem possible that the first loan could default while the second loan had not.

What about the bank details to fund lender's accounts? It looks like the account name changed to Lendy. Was that communicated at some point? Will payments made for Saving Stream still work today/tomorrow? hopefully yes.

You can put anything in the Account Name and it will arrive at the other end as long as you get the A/C Number & Sort Code correct

But not one that overly worries me since in my case direction of funds for some time could be referred to as 'outbound' rattler than 'inbound', from a l/SS standpoint.

I successfully credited my account using the old 'Saving Stream' details yesterday (Thursday) evening - it went through very quickly.
