Very little on MONEYTHING is less than 12% ...a few are 10 or 11 and certainly not less I joined MT three months ago and there hasn't been a new loan at 12% yet. Fair point and maybe I should have qualified my answer a little..re loans over the last few months business does seem to have slowed ..maybe that's down to the quality of the loan they'll take on..maybe not ..one things for sure though (currently) nothing much hangs around on the SM

Also worth noting, a clogged sm means anything put up for sale is of course earning no interest (for the seller).

Meanwhile I have quite a lot stuck in sales queues on the SM but I'm expecting the interest run will have a laxative effect and start thing moving a bit. Whatever the opposite to 'laxative effect' is, I think the latest £4.8M PBL offering at 12% for 365 days could be it! Last hopes of easement for the SM may now rest on PBL143 repaying. And it's all gone very quiet on the 143 front, so I wouldn't hold your breath.....

I'm just wondering, is there a state for the SM that people would be happy with? It seems that if everything gets hoovered up immediately there are complaints it's impossible to put money to work because of the bots, and when lots is for sale the complaint is that it takes more than 5 mins to sell.
PS I see the point on the 7% loan risk, but I think a big reason it doesn't "clog up" the SM is that it's a small loan. Personally I'm in P2P for the higher risk high return loans so I shan't be getting into those.

SM has been on fire in the night and it still is.
My inbox this morning is a long list of loan part sold emails from Lendy.
And tomorrow people get their monthly interest to invest!
Illiquid my a***!

Am I missing some bad news somewhere or is this just a time left to run thing?
