Due to a need to buy Euros at today's still feeble rate, I have made withdrawal requests to FC, FK, L (formerlly SS), TC, MT, AC and Rebs, all within the last hour. In which order will they finish in my bank account? Place your bets...!

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Gesplunge! MT has indeed arrived and won the Great Withdrawal Challenge about 6 minutes after the start of the race.

In second place, it's FUNDING KNIGHT, coming in an hour or so after MT. Congrats Kaya, you young Nostradamus.
Third place still up for grabs. What does the current form book say? I'm aware AC is a rank outsider.

THIRD PLACE in a time of 14 hours and 20 minutes is... ASSETZ CAPITAL (finish time: 4.21am), the unfancied outsider making a surprise early morning appearance in the finishing straight in a close race with LENDY who finish in fourth.
The FC, TC and ReBs horses must still be tussling it out somewhere below the horizon. Which will be the ignominious WORST OF ALL P2P platform?......

TC last.
And that's about 10 days after you put the loan part up for sale and paid a 1% fee!

And we're back after the break to the GFWC. And in the dead of night on Tuesday morning, 0526hrs, FUNDING CIRCLE crept in in 5th place.
DISQUALIFICATION THIN CATS, although not expected toi be amongst the front runners, TC failed to finish and are thus disqualified.
Unlike all other entrants, TC does not send out an immediate withdrawal acknowledgement email, and the uninvested funds total does not automatically reduce by the amount of funds requested. During the weekend, I made an investment from the uninvested funds shown, and just received an email saying 'insufficient funds to make the withdrawal requested' (last Thursday). Well, my mistake I suppose but an easy one to make. Therefore while not in last place, I would judge TC to have the most inefficient, scarcely fit for purpose, system for withdrawing money.
Lest we forget, there is one horse still running. ReBs did send out the withdrawal acknowledgement but I'm beginning to get a but concerned. It's not my first withdrawal so they do have the correct bank details. Bah!
Edit Just received a "Your withdrawal has been processed" notification from Assetz Capital. It says that should my bank take faster payments, I should receive the money very soon. But the money arrived last Friday at 4.00am. Will I be credited twice?

And finally, the wooden spoon winner gets their payment in at 16.51hrs on Wednesday. They replied sweetly that they would look into my problem, and the money has come in without further comment. Unfortunate for Rebs, who are usually a medium paced sort of horse.
I regret not entering Ratesetter into this race. I seem to remember them as being slow. In fact, the pound spiked briefly due to the election announcement, and the early payments I received got an Euro rate of 1.175, but the poorer performer group went across at 1.196 today, so I'm happy to have had my hand stayed by the slower funds processors.
Et voila, that ends the Great Funds Withdrawal Challenge. Thanks to everyone who 'liked'.
