You can now set up your account.
I will provide more info(or somebody will) once I read T&C's, a busy few hours ahead.

First things first, need to reduce my discounts/raise my premiums on the Secondary market! Edit: I'm saying that on the assumption that an ISA holder would be able to buy my aged, interest-laden, loans without fear of the taxman coming knocking, thereby increasing their value on the marketplace. I can't immediately see anything in the T's and C's to suggest otherwise, anyway. Will be very interesting to see what the impact on the SM is

Fundingsecure are pleased to announce the launch of our IFISA. You will find general information, including FAQ on the website, that should answer most of your questions. For anything not covered please post in this thread or email customer service. We will be authorising IFISA accounts on a first-come first served basis - please bear with us as it may take a little while to catch up. FundingSecure Announcement email

No Fees
"Will there be any fees?
No, there will be no fees for opening your IFISA or investing, nor will there be any fees for depositing, withdrawing and transferring."
Copied from FS website.

I can't see any fees. I will keep reading, maybe I missed them. fundingsecure please help. Why would you expect there to be fees? Because IF/ISAs are a well known soft touch and The Providers of same always like to cream off some old rope, via inexcusable Fees, for doing absolutely nothing. Says he, mixing metaphors shamelessly. If there are no Fees with FS' IFISA, I congratulate them heartily for not being money grubbing b******s, and they will be suitably rewarded.

Suspect FS will currently be content with clearing their backlog of loans requiring funding and perhaps not needing expensive underwriters and cashback quite as often..

Why would you expect there to be fees? Some P2P sites do charge fees. Do they? Can't expect them getting much business then.

Agreed. Platforms come in for a lot of (rightful) criticism on here so it is important they also know when they get things right. Well done FS.

I see FS have a cunning plan to maximise impact & coverage by announcing on a slow news day I can't wait for the LfSS commentary on the situation. I'm sure they will point out the falls in the FTSE. Cue the rush to sell on the SM and switch to FS.
