Very interesting and informative interview if a little guarded in some respects. Areas not covered where the various ventures and collaborations that have been much vaunted in the past but seem to have either been parked or maybe have run into the sand. However as usual there were heavy hints about new ventures/collaborations on the horizon. Small mention of the c£3M that was raised through Seedrs but nothing new.
Quite a lot of talk about stress testing of the loan book, defaulted and recovery loans with emphasis on the need for investor transparency. I just wonder if this was not a big dig at the competition in the form of L/SS, FS and a few others?
Overall definitely worth a watch. So Well done Stuart.

Excellent interview. Raised my estimation of the platform and of its CEO, so will probably be investing more.

Very open an honest interview, nice to get a 'feel' for the people behind the company. Although I disagree with Stuart's comments about the stock market - yes, the FTSE 100 index has basically recovered to the point it was before the financial crisis, but if you invested £10,000 ten years ago in an index fund, you would have probably doubled your money by now...if you reinvested your dividends!
Diversification is the key. I have around 7% of my investments in Assetz, seems like they're going about things the right way :-)

Excellent interview. I was impressed by his knowledge, experience and the AC approach to software development and I'm minded to increase my investment. However, I thought his views on stocks and shares ('FTSE goes up by 10% and down by 10%') were slightly disingenuous. I have a SIPP that is LTBH, yields 4.5% and the capital increases in the long term.
