I sold some loans parts and withdrew the proceeds.
I've just logged on and I am inexplicably showing a negative balance.
The amount I withdrew is showing as more than the previous balance but obviously that would have been impossible.
Any ideas?

Depends when it was - L made some untidy interest corrections a few days ago (read all about it on the forum), which meant some folks' balances went down without them doing anything (and the retroactive correction is almost impossible to spot from a transaction report, since it isn't there).

Had the same thing myself. Used my interest received to buy some more loans, and then ended up with a negative balance a few days later. Topped it up though to break even after they emailed me after I was in debt a couple of weeks.

It is not acceptable to do this with no notification and no double entry book keeping. I'm surprised it's even legal from a record keeping perspective.
