This is getting a bit silly now, over two weeks have passed since the initial "while we look into a matter that has come to our attention". Surely there should be some sort of update - even if it just covers the broad details of what the problem stems from. Now I'm wondering if something dire has happened - like the security already has a prior charge on it or something else that will delight lawyers to fight over for years - at our eventual expense. Have you emailed them?

Not recently, but I would have expected an update either by email or on the platform itself, rather than having to chase.
Why, have you emailed and received a response?

I agree you shouldn’t have too.....i did earlier today followed up this evening ...generally (not always) I get a response or an update follows within the next few days. I do this as although I believe MT keep an eye on the board from time to time they rarely converse on it these days. Perhaps if they received several it might just prompt a response along the lines you mentioned, the vacuum of info just leads to speculation

However, they provide no information. I wouldn't really expect them to give me private information nor would I expect them to post info here first. What I would expect them to do is to keep lenders (particularly lenders of distressed loans) regularly updated on their own site so everyone gets the same information at the same time. Of course there are some things they have to keep confidential so not to queer their pitch with borrowers etc but they can say much more and much more often than they currently do.

The accounts were filed at Companies House on 4 July which show a loss of £1.5m and the Balance Sheet is now insolvent. I would guess that this may be a breach of their agreement with Mt.

My fear in all this is that the writing is firmly on the wall for MT but it isn't saying "update"

Ah, that sort of issue would certainly trigger a pause in trading. However, if the security is good (and the project is more less completed and ready for sale) then the upcoming sale, if managed promptly, would presumably resolve the issue. Fingers crossed.
