Disappointing that there is no update tonight....it’s been four weeks since we were told they were in direct discussions with the bond provider who was apparently keen to do business...no interest paid and no further info.

It will be interesting to see what the 'good news' referred to in the update turns out to be.
If it's some verified actual factual truth that is beneficial to lenders getting their money back, then great. However, it's just another "well we have been told things are progressing well", or something equally unverified, then the update was not worth the effort it took to post it.
Any long term MT lenders will know 'good news' is often false gold, because where non-preforming loans are concerned, what is said to going to happen, usually does not, so the update is worthless.
I personally do understand MT's need to post updates for those impatient or nervous lenders who demand updates because to them they have some value. I personally have no need for them, they really are of little or no value. For me the only update I believe or value is the news that some or all of my investment is being returned.

It appears no update on this loan from MT today. I guess its still possible but unlikely as its gone 8pm. Updates on several other loans but not this one unfortunately.
