Yes,I have messaged them also. I guess that they've been really busy with the Newcastle Loan.

If any borrower was going to develop symptoms at a critical juncture it was going to be this one. I wish them a very speedy recovery but I imagine they may be feeling too poorly to pay for a little while yet.

I hope moneything question the seriousness of the symptoms. A lot of us have worked whilst having symptoms. 2 weeks self isolation doesn't mean the world stops.

That would be a bit silly to be honest. No choice but to assume the borrower doesn’t feel well enough to do business for the next couple of weeks best case.

Irrespective of the current virus situation, it is a matter of fact that borrowers in distressed loans are disproportionately likely to be sufficiently ill to be unable to correspond with anyone about their debts.

A more concrete Coronavirus excuse would be that very few people are lending money right now, so refinance is not possible. Neither is selling the land though. Is MT offering interest holidays due to CV?

Bridgecrowd are prepared to be sceptical and prepared to question, as a note on one of their loans says :-
"The borrower has been unable to complete a refinance application or sell the security property due to COVID-19, we have requested evidence of this so that the borrower does not just simply import the COVID excuse without it being factual "

Is MT offering interest holidays due to CV? They are if you need to leave home for your work. From memory there were only five actually paying interest with any frequency. One paid fine on the 9th, the pawn loans should be able to continue. The loan to the ticking building seems to be giving it a good try (they are a clear case of loss of business), Glasgow seems genuine. The fifth could be OK, the rest are what they are...... Arguably not as bad as it could be (yet anyway). Obviously some MT borrowers and plenty on other platforms will use the Virus as an excuse, but realistically it just replaces an equally implausible excuse we would have received anyway.

Anyone gleaned any information on the situation with this loan from MT.
Nearly 4 weeks since the borrower asked for 'a little more time' to put forward a proposal.
