Just tried the link to download and got a "404 - page not found" error. I have used the link successfully several times, so it could be FC have changed something. Anyone else having an issue?

Nope - I can't get it either! I run an Excel portfolio tracking program which relies on it for some information. Thanks FC - you're real gents!

I blame jm72  who pointed out that the link still worked (although it was hidden). See earlier posts. Evidently FC noticed. Can't be having the lenders accessing information. Dear dear ... no no ... |

Oi! - I blame the person who posted the fact that this was working in the Other Place! To be fair, it hadn't been updated for a couple of days before they pulled the link, and I had told FC in an email about 4 weeks ago that I was still accessing through the link (but that's about the length of time it takes for information to get to the IT guys as far as I can tell)

I (who mentioned it in the other place) blame FC. 8>. No real reason to have to pull the old one before the new one is ready for primetime .. imagine any other information source trying that ('news at ten will be back as soon as we've done a few upgrades to the presenters').
The whole 'loan book will be gone for a few days' joke must have run it's course by now, and a new shiny, complete, accurate, version ought to be with us 'directly'.
But then even nurses B & N are not managing to get the doctors to deliver .. maybe the new $65m (again? I though they had $37m not long since) will speed things along. I wonder which P2P lender coughed that up .. seems like a rather
large proportion of the FC net shareholder value, but then maybe FC didn't have to fill in the financials tab!?!

There comes a time when you start to suspect that FC have no wish to allow the lenders to see "FC's" loan book in future.

From the current FAQs, this dating from the start of the trial which ran through May.
"Loans will be randomly assigned as a whole or partial loan. We will clearly mark the type of loan in the loanbook which you can download on the statistics page and will continue to be entirely transparent about the number of loans allocated as whole loans."
Of course it is mere coincidence that the loan book disappeared from the statistics page about two months ago as the trial was extended in secret mode (for non-participants). The breach of the promise to be 'entirely transparent' is of course completely unconnected and it would also be technically impossible to continue to provide the old loan book as promised while the new was in development. That will be a tricky problem if FC ever need to update any of the pages such as 'loan requests' - a two month shutdown of the platform.

Loan book is back, linked from the Stats page again. Looks much like the old one except : a Whole Loan / Part Loan column has been added, and four summary financials (turnover etc) columns have be removed.
