Well thanx for that, though tbh I'm none the wiser as to what 'providing permissions' actually means and how Rebs can offer this facility. Will HC pay Rebs for this service? On another note, will this new platform mean the end of the T**** F***** connected loans at Ablrate? Yes, they will get paid. They basically take responsibility for HC compliance with regulation. Its an odd one as A** has all its own permissions to do the actual lending just not through P2P so they have to get Rebd to do the sign-off. Probably more involved than I suggested but probably not as much as principals on other platforms given HC parent already handles much of the regulation relating to loans. www.fca.org.uk/firms/appointed-representatives-principalsPossibly, though I suspect the diversity of funding may be attractive as lenders may not be happy about all eggs on the same platform.

Thanx guys. This new place sounds very cozy! I got my welcome e-mail  which told me to login & verify, but when I tried to log in, was told account not yet approved  This info seems catch 22: if you have verified your account, you are now able to log into the platform, deposit funds and begin earning interest. If you haven't verified your account, the next time you log in you will be taken to the verification part of our platform.
I shall await approval - or disaproval. |

Rebs are the principle who provide HC with their P2P FCA permissions but arent directly involved in the platform Note also that Rebs are the appointed back-up servicer should HC fail / become insolvent / etc. as per 16.1 of the Ts&Cs Which makes me wonder what happens if they both go south.

On another note, will this new platform mean the end of the T**** F***** connected loans at Ablrate? My guess is that depends how successful they are in growing a lender base. This first loan is a tiddler by the standard of those on Ablrate, but the margin saved must be considerable (which presumably somewhat helps pay for the 20% CB offer!) Noteworthy that 2 of the C****** loans have been paused on abl SM pending refinance imminently.

What is the interest ratefor their first and only loan so far? 12% interest only for 12 months then 12% amortising for the remaining 36 months.

Yes, I was approved before noon, and got the confirmation reply to my query (sent an hour or so later) at around 4:30. It also confirmed the 30 days to invest. Glad about that 'cause it will give time to read up on the terms etc and do some DD which I totally failed to do at the time  . In Edit: if the account numbers are anything to go by it wasn't far off full at the time. I see dan1 has/ will PM the email address the responce came from.

Thanks for the heads up Steve! Will report back if I make the top 100 Edit: Over 1,000 accounts too late  I think they must have started at account number 1001 well I am between #1001 and #1100, but no confirmation of being in the first 100. No indication of how one would know.
