Announcement: New volunteer and other staff changes

dan1 has very kindly stepped forward to volunteer some of his time and effort as a new Moderator. A warm welcome is in order.
In other not so breaking news, it will have not have passed notice that star dust handed in her Moderator stars in exchange for Administrator ones sometime back. On behalf of the rest of the "staff" - and hopefully the majority of forum members - I'd like to give a big thank you for the effort star dust puts in both back and front of house in administrating the board.
Finally, a while back samford71 took the decision to step back from being active on the forum. This happened to lead to the deletion of a large number of his posts. This did not go unnoticed and consequently we received some 'concerned' comments. On behalf of all of the forum staff I would like to recognise the contribution samford71 made in his time as a moderator. Additionally, I know that I feel, and believe that many other members also do, that his informed and informative contributions to the forum were particularly valuable - even if at times we didn't fully understand them !
Back to dan1: welcome to the team. There are about 20 reported posts that need dealing with: get to it lad.... (only joking.....).
