'Please note that the comment added on Friday 2 June 2017 was and administrative error so please ignore. Please accept our sincere apologies for this and we thank you for your ongoing patience.'
'We are constantly monitoring the account and the arrears are being paid by part pavements each month. We thank investors for their understanding and patience.'
Both today, they really should sort, makes them look inept.

With regard to that comment from FC, 3 comments were posted on 2nd June
"02 Jun 2017 We are very pleased to advise investors that, following distribution of funds to investors on 1 June, this loan has now been repaid in full. Please note this matter is now closed and this will be the final update to investors.
02 Jun 2017 A recovery payment has been received and will be distributed today.
02 Jun 2017 We can advise investors that the guarantors' payment plan is fully up to date. Furthermore, we understand the borrower's contributions into the CVA are up to date and we will next seek an update from the Supervisor in 3 months time and will revert back to investors immediately thereafter."
Which one would they like us to ignore?

As we’re on the subject, one of my loans includes the following loan comment.
"We thank all investors for their patients."
Before receiving this comment, I had assumed that FC staff were only permitted to copy and paste from a standard list of management approved sound bytes.
Someone's been freestyling!

Someone's been freestyling! was this loan for a Harley Street practise by any chance ? (see what I did there ?)

Floundering Cramphorns has always had office monkeys staff who have demonstrated a high susceptibility to illiteracy, poor spelling and sometimes factually wrong updates. Four years ago FC promised to improve its attention to such detail. They never have. (Oh, yes, Brackers! I spotted your two errors, or even three if the space counts )

Apart from the already mentioned, "We thank all investors for their patients" (or was it referrals?), on the same day another of my Loan Comments stated, "We are currently chasing the guarantor regarding there missed payment....."
Must admit that upon seeing both of those faux pas, I was driven to email FC (too much time on my hands?), but then got into a spat with them after being told that both errors were just typos. Unable to resist that bait, I responded that typos were generally caused by pressing only a wrong key, not because of using a totally incorrect word.....
In fairness, I think I'm now approaching the stage where whatever FC does will annoy me - purely on principle!

... the arrears are being paid by part pavements each month ... As long as they've got Adele on the recoveries team ... she's good at chasing pavements.

I don't see the problem; why would you expect people dealing in millions of Pounds of clients' money to be able to demonstrate being able to speak formal English and show attention to detail ? I mean it is not as if FC clients are being charged a fee for a so-called professional service is it.. To be honest my French architect speaks better English and I expect (and get) more precise communication from my unskilled labourers!
Thanks you for your patients whilst we screw-up your pavements!

Another gem
Family Boatyard Diversification (1747) — defaulted, exposure £8.73
Downgraded (No risk band - More info)
09 Jun 2017
The matter of probate remains in the probate of being finalised. This is a result of a miscommunication that has arisen between the solicitor acting in the matter and the Liquidator of another of the deceased guarantor's business interests. We hope that this matter will be resolved swiftly and will keep investors up to date. In the meantime, we expect to receive a further payment of 50% of the contractual monthly amount early next week.

Attempting to turn this into a serious discussion ... what do all these errors mean? I assume that the people working at FC aren't illiterate, or idiots, however much fun you might have making such assumptions.
Errors like these are precisely the ones that absolutely anyone will make if they are short staffed and under pressure. That's the real learning here.

Sorry to contradict but literacy seems never to have been a requirement for getting a job working for FC. However having a get bye attitude is!

The example of nonsense quoted by takeshi above is classic FC Weaselspeak for "we have lost control of this loan".

Aha! I thought it was suspicious that they had used the apostrophe correctly. Well rehearsed pretended incompetence.
