The QAA is the least important account for me, so only gets the occasional check. Imagine my surprise to find no interest has been credited since March 1st on one account and April 1st on another. Anyone else with the same problem? Any explanation, AC ( andrewholgate)

Any explanation, AC ( andrewholgate ) If the funds you have in the QAA have been swept from another account (eg. your MLIA), as opposed to a direct QAA investment, then interest is credited in the source account. That might be the explanation but it seems odd - my pattern of investment has not changed much over the past six months and I got £18 interest on March 1st in the QAA followed by 0.02, 0.04 and 0.00 in the following months. In a second account, there is not even an entry since April 1st (about £14), not even interest <0.01. To me, it looks like a policy change around April regarding where interest was to be allocated or a failure in the system.

Anyone else with the same problem? Any explanation, AC ( andrewholgate ) I have just had a look at mine. I have never invested directly in the QAA and only have MLIA loans at the moment. My QAA statement has no entries for interest, in fact no entries at all, ever. My MLIA account does show interest from QAA on 1 June - I haven't gone back before then as the number of entries in the download would probably make my computer explode.

Interest is swept back to the account that the swept funds came from and will show up on those interest statements instead. Thats the way the system works I understand and disclosing that doesn't breach any DP issues for individual users !
