Yeah, Tewkesbury property loan due to repay next week. It's only 4 to 5 months late, and this is only the 7th promised repayment date in the drivelling list of comments. And I thought FC were being given the run-around again - silly me. All that's left now is for the solicitors to check the property title (um, am I being daft in thinking that should have been done a little earlier?).

Is this the same old Tewkesbury that was one of the first FC property loans, when the team were still bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (though hugely experienced)? I dimly remember making some decent cash out of that.

At least I know where to come now with my begging bowl when FC next move back the promised payment date and ultimately default the loan!

I think I missed the very first Tewkesbury loan because I felt that I should support real businesses and not feed house price inflation. I got over that, or perhaps FC corrupted me - note to self: must look for a specialist firm of caring lawyers who can help me stop other people being corrupted, as I was, by getting me lots of compensation. So when you say 4 or 5 months late - how late is completion and sale of the original development planned?

I have funds in four loans in Tewkesbury ranging from 114 to 141 days late. I believe the interest is charged at an extra 2% for these types of loans, is that collected on settlement or paid monthly as I can't find it on the transaction statement.

It's normally rolled up and paid with the repayment, together with the last scheduled interest payment.

Just make sure that no one with your firm of caring lawyers has connections with the outfit involved with FC loan 1558 “L**n to bu* La**ers F**m” aka Bent Lawyer.

What a surprise. The 7th "expected"/"anticipated" repayment date has fallen by the same wayside as the other 6. Do I spot a pattern here? Bring on the 8th!

Double figure delay excuses are surely the least we should hope for. Perhaps a sweepstake on when each late/ defaulted loan may pay back?

REf ----All that's left now is for the solicitors to check the property title--- I don't buy this (I am a small developer) . I thought these units were finished about 2 years ago. I seem to recall there was a dispute as to what flats were responsible for what maintenance? I would translate the FC reply as "there has been an almighty Horlicks due to failure to manage this project properly and FC failed to oversee it properly. Sadly now the lawyers are milking it for all they can and all we can do it wait and send out meaningless if not misleading "updates"...
Also these units seemed far too expensive to me....
