I invested in Dolphin Trust GmbH two years ago with 2-year and 5-year bonds. the 2-year bond has just been redeemed for a return of 10% AER + a 1% bonus. The company seem to keep very quiet, just getting on with their work of refurbishing German listed buildings into high value apartment buildings. The business is aided by the fact that there is a tax break for Germans buying accommodation in listed buildings.
I can recommend this investment if you have some large sums available that can be locked in for two or five years, they also do income bonds with 6-monthly interest payments that do not accrue a bonus. I have another 5-year bond for 25,000 which will give me 10% AER +2% bonus in 3-years time
