I've invested in MLIA but couldn't find any info on queue size (if any) for GBBA or GEIA. To test the water, I instructed a whole £5 into GEIA last Friday... & so far only a penny has matched! Is this normal?! & is there a way of seeing the queue, I'm still new to AC and working my way round the website

Funds get invested as and when eligible loans become available and which dont breach an individual accounts diversification (ie if you hold enough already you wont buy more). Looking at the avaliable loans list there doesnt seem to be much GEIA eligibale stuff avaliable. One whirligig which has issues with the LTV so might be inelligible currently. The GEIA is always harder to get cash into AIUI (never used) because of a more limited loan flow - tend to come in batches - and you are competing against other account holders/manual investors for that limited supply. Youll probably find it easier to get funds into the GBBA as there is a wider selection of loans, better loan flow and more regular availibility

Hi ika88 , welcome. There is no queue for the GBBA or GEIA as such (or for the new PSIA account either) and any investment into these accounts will simply join all the other outstanding buy instructions on the system in an equitable "pooling" of requests so everyone should get something when it becomes available. Your investing into the GBBA or GEIA will cause the system to search for available loans that meet the criteria for that account on your behalf, if there are none it will try again later. So your speed of investment will be totally dependent on there being available loan units available and/or the arrival of new loans on the system meeting the investment account requirements. Investment into these accounts can be very unpredictable, sometimes fast, at other times it has taken a long time to invest.Remember though, if you use the swept idle funds into the QAA option for the GBBA and GEIA accounts you will be earning 3.75% on your money while it waits to be invested so it is not as bad as it could be. EDIT: Crossed with ilmoro above

Has your £5 been fully invested yet? I'm considering dipping my toe into the GEIA too, but so far I've been put off by the limited number of loans available in this account.

savernake there are currently at least 30 GEIA eligible loans. Whether or not they have any availability is another question...

From memory it took over a week for £5 to fully invest! Needless to say I haven't tried again since!
