I have been watching my ISA investment daily as I'm trying to make loans of £10 only so am having to feed money in in <2000 blocks. Interesting thing I noticed today was that I have had a loan that was funded on 22/06 @18:11 and was closed and paid up on 26/6 @ 19:14.
I got the curious sum of £0.00913... in interest.
Is this the shortest loan ever?. (I'm guessing not)

Looks like a classic case of a borrower exercising their right to a "cooling off" period, and changing their mind about taking a loan.

Mrs B Core outside Isa. £40 lent 21st June 16:15 £40 capital returned plus 2.860764p interest on 23rd June 19:07 - so she now has 2p in the processing queue. So just under 51 hrs - any more contenders?
