Can we have the loans with parts available to buy at the top of the loans list please? Why? It's easy enough to identify these loans with the present system of highlighting, particularly as it's only one page. In my opinion the current format of chronological order is the right one. ahem, yes, and RR, both of you are quite right and I'm blushing. I was outdoors when I was looking at the list and the highlighting had vanished.

Bits of everything popping up as funds get freed up for PBL10. Losing track of which boats Im in, especially all the canal boats One of the major shortcomings of SS accounts for lenders is the inability to see how much of any particular loan they hold. It's rather inevitable that a lender with a larger account ends up with a relatively long list of loan parts held, as purchases of any given loan are made on numerous occasions. I've tried various methods of checking my holdings, none of which are satisfactory. The two best methods seem to be... - Using the Firefox search facility to find the lines for any particular loan and make a mental running total as I work my way through the entries; and
- Importing the statement CSV into Excel, filtering out everything except the loan I'm looking for, and then sorting by Transaction Type, and then adding up all the 'Loan part fund' and Loan part sale' entries.
Both of the above techniques work, but they take too much effort. ISTM that it would be so much better if savingstream were to add a separate account display that would collect together all parts of a given loan and provide totals for each holding. Would anyone else find such a feature useful?

Yes, of course we would . And I'm pretty sure we've asked for it before, although apparently not in this thread. It doesn't cause me too much problem because I'm not as worried as most about how much of what I hold and am happy to adjust in slow time, but it would still be an enhancement.

Yes, thirded, what's not to agree with. I have it all in a spreadsheet but even then I have to flick between that and the web and try and make sure I really have the right boat as some of these canal boat names aren't that distinguishable at a glance. Also, as I've done so much selling and buying recently even my spreadsheet (with loans in one tab and sales in another) is getting in a pickle, and I'm going to re-design it tomorrow I think.

Definately. Ended up scribbling all the canal boat bits in shorthand on a random bit of paper & then promptly bought a bit of another non-canal boat loan of which I already owned a chunk. Doh!

Yes a good idea.
I too write the sums down manually and add them up to keep a running total of my investments in particular loans.

At the risk of 'teaching grandmothers to suck eggs' .... you can simply highlight the Live Loan Parts Table from your dashboard, right click to copy and then dump straight into a spreadsheet. As you purchase more just select those from the bottom as they are listed chronologically. The only nuisance factor I've found in this is getting rid of the boat and property pictures.

The only nuisance factor I've found in this is getting rid of the boat and property pictures. That's the main reason for my comment about it taking too much time. It also depends on how adept you are with spreadsheets.
