Hello Forum Earlier this year we obtained the financial statements of the companies behind 28 of the most popular British P2P platforms. We found that 4 firms held 93% of the total industry equity. Most platforms had less than £1 million in equity. In our post we note that equity is only one of many, many factors to consider before investing, but we thought the data may be useful and worth sharing. We will be posting a similar note on the profitability of each platform shortly. How much equity does each British P2P firm have?
Note - the research was performed a few months ago, so maybe slightly out of date.

It's harder to get the data in Europe, but we will try and track it down one way or another. We will be publishing a post on the P&L of British P2P firms in the next few days (it's not pretty).

P&L for platforms is important though... oddly enough my 3 largest investments in platforms* all make money I believe... one of my aims when reviewing platforms is seeing if they make money. *three largest historical platforms, I've since reduced significantly investments there for other reasons.
