Hello forum,
I have opened my first P2P account with Assetz Capital. The website looks good and feels easy to navigate, but I think I am being an idiot and doing something wrong?
I deposited funds into my account and then into the Manual Loan Investment Account. I then browsed loans with "Units available" and placed instructions to buy immediately. The loans state that there are amounts "available for instant investment", but everything is still "Awaiting investment" on the Dashboard.
Am I missing something?
Many thanks

Can someone expand as to how often a matching run is done. It explains why having bid with units available none were purchased.

The clever computer flashy box thing looks at one loan at a time in sequence and matches sellers requests to buyers. Loan parts are distributed in a way that ensures all get a bit of their requested bids without big hitters dominating. Its not a que, first come first served The process takes i think 2 or 3 hours to work around the loop of all the loans and as the loan book gets larger will i suppose take longer still.

Many thanks Loans with units available should show within a few hours but expect to wait several days for on upcoming loans. Make sure you have selected the 'invest idle funds option' on the QAA Dashboard. This will ensure you are earning interest as funds wait to be allocated.

Yeah it is slowing as more loans come onto the platform but that's on my to do list to rework that part of the code and speed it up significantly. I'd prefer it to be at least once an hour on each loan if not faster.

Similar issue. Instructed to buy £250 of a loan with plenty of availability 24+ hours ago. I've received 26p.

I, also, seem to be missing something.
I am really struggling to get ANYTHING invested in the MLIA. I choose live loans with "Units available" and the system says that "Your instruction" is "Buying £20".
They then sit like this for weeks and weeks with nothing happening. How do I get funds invested here?

How do I get funds invested here? Are your funds actually moved across into your MLIA account, or might they still be in your Cash accoubt (or even directly invested in the QAA)?

This was exactly it! For some reason I was assuming that the funds would be transferred automatically when a loan was matched. Thanks!
