I record the overall weekly change in account value net of deposits/withdrawals and file a copy of my account statement every week. This helps me monitor platform performance, spot any material issues, provide sufficient records to identify the source of any future identified account issues/problems and support a claim in the event of a catastrophic data loss at the platform.

Well, "A spreadsheet" doesn't quite cut it for me. More like "a collection multitude of interrelated spreadsheets feeding into an overall monster spreadsheet ".

Yes all of that, plus a lot of web-scraping ('one Bot to grab them all, one bot to store them, lots of weird Excel code, downloads galore then'). It's only the AC femtopence which cause head scratching, and the recent Ly interest calculation shenanigans which require a very large hammer to reconcile .. if I want to know who FC loan 5371 was made to, and when, I ask the database. If I want to know WHY I invested in some of those loans, well that's still a complete mystery.8>.

What do you store all the passwords in? A vault in my secret underground lair. Actually, mostly in my head but also copies in a pen drive stored in a safe for when I forget!

I allow safari keychain to generate, store and recall complicated passwords for most things and other passwords such as the one for the computer and where they have to be entered manually each time are memorised or for some I record as clues in handwritten records. For records I keep a spreadsheet showing how much I have in each account on the last day of each month which is ok for tax returns and to ensure I don't lose track of the whereabouts of monies, and I store transaction records monthly when I remember. These records are kept on the cloud. I also keep all transaction related emails in an archive in case of platform failure. In addition I download bank statements when they reach the stage before they disappear from the online banking website. These records do not enable performance analysis but I think they allow me to keep track of money, fill in returns build records in case of data loss.

I'm using selenium in python, then updating google sheets via the sheets api. One test site down, 25 to go :-). Hope they don't change the format too often.
