Surprised no one stuck a thread up about these, seem fairly promising compared to recent fare on this platform with the low LTV ratio (usual scoffing at RICs valuations aside) and supposed keen interest in apartments before they are built.
I live a not unfeasible distance from Beeston so will be watching with a bit of interest - stuck a token amount in for this reason. I see at the other end of the scale someone put 3 x £500k across the 2 loans in! 18% on 1.5mil anyone?!
May drive down and have a gander at some point, will provide pictures if I do.

Make a day of it and check out all the borrowers other loans at the same time, about 8 properties to see

FS loans, even at low LTVs are not always as attractive as they first appear but I was shocked to see these selling so quickly early on. The reason as you mention is that one lender put £1m in loan 1 and £500k in loan 2. Strange that this lender also managed to get his bids in before anyone else... so undoubtedly a previously agreed underwriter, which FS installed before opening the general bidding. I don't think that's entirely above board, not because it didn't leave us much to bid on, but because it hoodwinks other lenders into thinking this loan is selling quickly because it's actually desirable and so persuading them to get a bid in before carrying out DD However, pictures of the progress will be welcome and potentially invaluable - such images have certainly put Whitehaven on the map
