rebsrep, danrajcan you (or anybody else, for that matter) comment on why my withdrawal today from rebuildingsociety.com should have been tagged in my bank statement as coming from "Huddle Capital Client" account? Has Huddle Capital taken over the rebuildingsociety.com operation, by any chance?

Evening,
Thank you for your question.
I have looked into this for you and spoken to the accounts team.
Huddle is an Appointed Representative (AR) of rebuildingsociety.com. Huddle and Rebs have separate client accounts, both administered by rebuildingsociety.com in accordance to the CASS rules.
The funds have been correctly attributed to all recipients. There was an error in processing the transaction. This has already been addressed following company policy and there is no need for lender concern.
I hope i have been able to address your question and concerns.
Have a good evening.

So rebuilding society giving personal banking details to another company without customer authorisation is "not a cause for concern"? Really!

Evening,
Apologies if there is any confusion, to clarify. No personal details were passed to any other company.
Funds were sent to Rebs lenders from a Rebs controlled client account with the incorrect sender account details.

Yes Kylie but it was from Huddles client account, run by you for them, and not rebuilding societies. I would assume that huddle can see their client account. Ergo, you have given data to a third party without the data owners permission. I wonder what other "errors" you are going to allow to happen. Maybe you would give Huddle full access to rebs trading account data to help them build their business. Time will tell.

Morning,
I can assure you no details were shared, as the way in which transactions are made ensure that individual client details are not shown on the bank statements when withdrawals are made, instead a single transaction line some is shown reflecting the total sum off all withdrawals processed. Huddle have restrictive access to their client account and do not have access or visibility of any Rebs client data.

There were a number of security issues & concerns with Rebs when I investigated them back in March, (before Huddle launched) so it's a little concerning that Rebs and Huddle's systems (and staff) are perhaps not quite as septate & isolated from each other as investors would like.
