This thread is a year old but it indicates that at the time there weren't many green loans available. The money I have in AC is split 50% between GBBA and GEIA. GBBA is 100% invested bit GEIA is only 10%. Presumably the situation is similar? Wondering weather to be patient (for diversification purposes) and whether to shift it to GBBA. Are there any green loans on the horizon?

I opened up a Green Energy account just over a month ago, and 80% of my money invested was matched in 30 hours.
My recent interest payments took up to a week though.
I won't be putting any new money in any time soon as I'm not sure about the amount of new loans, and the diversification currently isn't as great as the GB Business account.

Are there any green loans on the horizon? I searched the word "wind" (but not "wind turbine") and it lists 22 loans. The one we know as the Jolly Drummer has £177k available to invest, must be one of the stages in it's drawdown. There are four others with fractions of a penny available which means there's definitely trading in them going on in them. I've defihitely seen a handful in the pipeline, but hard to pin down. EDIT. I have 26 different loans in GEIA.

Looking more closely at the current loans there's a set from Northern Ireland where there are still one more stage in the drawdown to go for two of them. One 86k due end of August the other 176k due early August. The dates are far from definite but that's what's listed.

There are four more "renewable" loans in the pipeline, renewable could mean a few things but highly likely to go into the GEIA to my mind.

Ah yes, and my GEIA isn't invested in that....yet? With GEIA there's a button on the Dashboard page, it's bottom left corner of the green box. On clicking it gives you two options one is "My Holdings" that will list all you have in GEIA. Some Users on the forum have said they're not happy to have 20% in one loan etc. That fact limits how much I put in there also I'm not that happy with N.I. wind turbines loans as there's been quite some uproar about that nationally as you may have heard. The whole furore has put me off them to a degree even though a commitment has been given that they will receive their NIROC payments or whatever the correct name is. I'm holding back a little til it actually comes thru'. EDIT. That button says I have 26 loans in GEIA. I have four loans each of which are about 17% of my total in GEIA. So about 68% is in four loans.

There haven't been many new green energy loans recently but there will be more we expect post-summer. We do however expect a redemption through a portfolio sales from one of our borrowers that would reduce the account size somewhat in September if that goes ahead.
We like the sector but tariff changes caused origination to become unpredictable.

I wasn't aware of the ability to sweep unused funds temporarily into the QAA, which I have now done until more become available  |
