What records do you keep? Just under two thirds keep a spreadsheet (although the contents vary a lot), just under a third rely on the platform. This begs the question of those that do not rely on the platform, what is the purpose of keeping your own records.
You can vote for one or two. If you have more reasons please choose the two main ones.

P2P wise i'm only invested in Zopa and since they removed the really useful (original) loanbook tools its the only way to find out what's happening at an overview and level.

My EUR platforms have many different ways of reporting returns and most of the UK ones only report totals. I like to calculate returns in the same way for all platforms and to have better reporting on overall performance, recent performance and future projections. I like to have a single place to see everything together.

Can I vote for all four? Platforms do make mistakes and the average lender usually only finds out because of the vigilant record keepers. I'm usually not quite diligent enough for this, but thanks to those that are. If a platform failed suddenly and the web site became unavailable I would want to have a fairly good record of my investments for the sweepers up. I don't necessarily like the way platforms present data, and they tend to all be different making it difficult to compare. And yes I do like to know exactly where my pennies are.

I like to see all of my P2P investments as a total as well as individually, and I like to see the pennies adding up
