Hello guys,
is there any option how to invest from Europe overseas (e.g. USA)? Is it possible to invest in other parts of the world and not beeing a resident?
Are there more of you interested in that, or it's only me...
Thank you.

Why scam? I'd like to really invest via Lending Club or Propser, but it's not possible without SSN..

As I said, apologies if it is a genuine question but you can’t be too careful where money is concerned, personally I’ve not heard of Lending Club or Propser.

You don't need an SSN to invest in the US. You may need an ITIN instead if you do something that makes it necessary to file a US tax return. That's just an SSN-type number from a range reserved for this purpose.

The online application forms for both Lending Club and Prosper require a US address.
As a general observation, p2x platforms worldwide may or may not open themselves to non-nationals, depending on the cost/benefit for them and their local law. I know that some in the EU do; there is another thread on this somewhere. One of the issues for them is the laws around "know your client" and anti money launderiing. It's harder to comply with these laws cross-border, but some manage it.

Thanks for pointing out the thread. Despite the fact it's mainly about investing in Europe I found there some interesting info.. But my idea is to invest through biggest p2p sites. Comparing Lending Club (LC) is 100 time bigger than Bondora. I thing would be good for me to find one huge platform instead of playing with too many differrent local sites.. Just FYI - meanwhile I got in touch with LC and they offer international account with some requirements.. When I clarify more, I'll share info as it might be interesting for some of you.
