Unfortunately, particularly for shareholders, latest Seedrs update announces that the decision has been taken to wind-up Shareproperty due to regulatory costs and lack of investment opportunities.
Cant say Im surprised as they never got any traction, failing to fund more than one deal, and the only other deal they offered was available on a more established platform

Indeed, can't say I'm that surprised, but a rather disappointing effort to have failed so soon. £150k blown in 12 months; was never going to be enough to support the 8-person team listed in the pitch. Way too late to the party, in my view. Oh well, at least there's EIS... ps, ilmoro, IIRC brickowner was on Seedrs at a very similar time - I took a bigger punt on them. Fingers crossed. |

Theyve been back for more since, had a small dabble and theyve got 4 times as many loans away and seem to have a much clear plan/deal flow/contacts than SP seemed to. Plus I can pass AML/KYC on BO which I was never able to on SP despite a chunk of correspondence. Talking of which, noticed this earlier when watching P&L www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhs7NMQXajU (the opening is painful - wonder if he actually knows who 'Fred' is)

Site seems to be offline on some pages but live on others? Wonder what occurs to existing investments there. There a life time will or something similar?
