I see from this week's newsletter that we are getting another 10 profiles and that profiles will no function on Bondora+. I have two issues with this the first one being that whilst there are a number of selection criteria that can be set in a profile they don't reflect the filters I use when selecting Bondora+ loans on the market, and the second issue being that allowing profiles may well mean that manual bidding become impossible if profiles mop up the loans as soon as they are listed as they do on Bondora.

The Bondora+ loans are struggling to fill, so I doubt whether people will rush into setting profiles for them. I have a high proportion of mine overdue so am keeping away until the repayment experience becomes clearer. I wish they would have more local applications providing bank statements as before.
I have asked on their forum for updated default graphs but no response so far.

I've been carefully picking + loans and like jamesfrance my lates are starting to build (but so are the profile loans 'allocated' recently) ........... time will tell if going into + loans will be beneficial to me.
I will not set a profile for + loans, my feeling is that these loans are very much a personal choice issue. I anticipate there will still be plenty on the board for manual investment, I don't think that it is the current lack of profile bidding possibilities that is holding a lot of these loans back. There again I could be 100% wrong .................

Just to add my 2c . Its nice to cherry pick these but again not setting a profile to bid for them. But if a spanish loan is giving 35% interest you've got to ask why and make the decision yourself Anyway how long is it taking people to get there money lent out these days. For me it seems like an age!! /beastie

My cash balance is rising as it is so difficult to get loans now except for Bondora+ and also I have had several loans repaid early recently. I wish they would go back to how it was in March when you could have an increased loan level by being prepared to join in lower interest loans. Then you could get in before their institutional investor which mops up so much of the availability of the safer loans and avoids all the riskier ones.
Few people are bidding for B+ loans most of which time out and fail, so something needs to change.

hmm so I'm not the only one. I'm only getting 3 or 4 loans a week currently which is far from what I need to re-invest my repayments. I've taken a fair number of + loans (5 Euro max a time) as an 'experiment' but I have a feeling that the quality of my loan book is diminishing rapidly.

Ditto, I am down to a dribble of 3-4 loans per week where-as back in March/April it was 3-4 per day. Current cash balance is fairly flat (which is a bit frustrating since I've yet to lend out all my initial deposit from 4 months ago!).
I will also be giving Bondora+ profiles a miss - even if I were to go there eventually, I want to first gain more experience of regular Bondora loans, particularly to get a clearer view of default and recovery rates over, say, a year or so. Posters here have been very generous sharing their experiences in that regard, but I am not so sure I have the time and patience to monitor the loan book quite so closely.

Good point. Bondora can become rather time consumptive if you want to keep on the top of your loan book and over the past year I have found the time allocation increasing. One of the reasons I am pulling out of FC is that my time to return ratio was not what I would like it to be. Currently Bondora passes that 'test' but all things can change.

Not only me then... Any suggestions on where to go next? I'm with all the usual players and i consider Bondora to be my high risk(ish) exotic. I would like another exotic to replace(append) to it Any thoughts?
