I suspect the price reduction is partly due to the seller reducing the size of the plot for sale
When at £895k: "The grounds extend to about 4.25 acres"
Now at £695k: "Grounds extending to about 2 acres"
Now I know Estate Agents can be a bit off with these measurements ...but it is the same agent both times in this case

well spotted - I missed that.
I wonder if 2 acres have been sold for £200K? If so it changes how I perceive this loan
Interesting - if I had a windfall of £200K I might be tempted to put it into this loan given that it may have a very good chance of being re-financed....

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Sad to see this one finally repaid, it was a rare gem in the world of P2P property loans. Possibly the greatest.
It rolled on for nearly 3 years with 34 tranches, charges, renewals, and consolidations. It even offered a 9th charge with an LTV of just 30%.

I will miss this loan.
It's done me proud - although a little bit annoyed that I actually bought some on the SM at a small premium this very morning.
So that's a loss. Although well up overall.
Last time I looked the estate agents website said Under Offer so I was hoping the legals might take their time or the sale would fall through as it did before.
But onwards and upwards.
I'm now faced with having cash sat on account in my ISA. Must resist the temptation to spash the cash on any old rubbish - and there's certainly quite of lot of that to choose from on FS.
A chance to put some of my non-ISA holdings up for sale and see who buys them if you see what I mean.

Just sell your loans in the main account and buy the same ones in your ISA, thats what I do
