Likewise. Made even more irritating having had a reasonable sum invested in the various previous tranches.
I understand FS have said they like to keep no restrictions on some loans to keep the BHs happy, which from a business point of view makes some sense. My question to them would be: do these BHs that mop up the low LTV loans in seconds also invest large sums in other loans, the ones that struggle to fill? Because if not, their reasoning is invalid - the loans these BHs mop up would fill quickly with a sensible bid limit anyway, and the other less desirable loans on the platform are no better off for having the BHs around. In which case, all the lack of bid restriction is actually doing is irritating lots of smaller investors.

I wanted some of this but again DD wanted to know why the sale fell though. Was it because of the remedial work? Anyway bids of 50k/25k - it would take at 30 secs to stroll that far down 50k at 100 intervals would be like 500 lines down

I was there and in action at 13:00:00.
Got nothing.
Looking at those last four investments, that must have been awfully clever to smack in £25K,£25K*, £25K*, and then £50K to exactly complete the investment run.
* same investor/two different accounts? - is that how he could get two consecutive bids in when the whole lot went in a few seconds? I don't think FS are letting us in on the true method for allocating these bids. It looks to be suspiciously like those four bids were pre-loaded, and registered as soon as the rest of the loan had been allocated, thus being listed as the last four bids. I do not believe that exactly £50K was available at the precise nanosecond the £50K bid was received.
FS, I think you have some more explaining to do. It appears that not only do we not have a level playing field, but you are specifically sloping it towards certain favoured investors. Do they work for FS?

Its just super cool timing oldgrumpy, you're not suggesting more special treatment are you? At this rate i'll be withdrawing all my cash, my IFISA money is currently 40% uninvested, and its not for want of trying, and i'm sure i'm far from alone with this thought in mind.

I think the reason you can't get invested is just the summer lull. Typically there are a few chunky loans per week but that just hasn't been happening for the last 3-4 weeks, hence the demand for pretty much any loan that shows up and the tightening of the SM. It's not just FS, there have been a lack of loans across platforms. Things will pick up soon I'm sure.

I can only assume j***y is short for 'jolly fast fingers', as they also managed to get 2 consecutive £25k bids in the Marlborough loan. Over twice as fast as most other investors and managed to make both of the first two bids in that one - quite remarkable <cough> fast fingers.

Perhaps FS should tell us the remaining amount of loans which actually need funding after BHs have been guaranteed their multi-K requests.

Its obvious that the big investors have their allocation reserved for them so they dont have to bid at the appointed time, I guess if I was investing £25k upward I would expect that to be done. No comfort for the smaller investors including me when we cant get any

Anyway not the same email address ................. or is it ? Anyway , the plot thickens .......

I have noticed that the response time of the site is getting slower at the appointed hour, presumably because so may folk are refreshing or trying to bid at the same time

Could it be that their underwriting members may be flexing their considerable muscles to cover losses elsewhere? Like everyone here I have no clear evidence hence the question rather than wild, unsubstatiated accusations.
Not a fan of FS just in case you were wondering.
