Just for info : I have 4 property loans listed in Max due to repay today - totalling about £1.3k.
So far no money showing in holding... but I suspect within a day or so they will. That will reduce my Max total down by about a 6th. :-)

I expect that we will be paid right at the end of the month- no reason to expect them to pay any earlier. And I see little point in worrying about whether they will pay or not- the reality is they will either pay to they won't pay- and if they don't there is precious little we can do about it (and I speak as one of those idiots who had a lot with Wellesley). The administrators, Duff and Phelps may be b@st@rds but they are very professional b@st@rds- I would be genuinely astonished if we weren't paid (I am more concerned about the later payments- but again not convinced the worrying is going to get me anywhere). Very "Zen". I commend you. I agree - there is little point in worrying about what we have no control over.

I take it you closed the account then since unless you keep £500 in it closes automatically. I can't decide whether to take the last 500 out or not. Presumably we will still be able to access tax statements come April.
Hmm... To close or not to close, that is the question...
Closed it completely carol167 , I don't see rates improving anytime soon nor any advantage in keeping it open, but wot do I know?!! 😁 I too have closed it now. You are right - no advantage to keeping it open. I can always open another one at a later date.

I closed my NS&I Income Bonds account recently and i) you get a closing statement that includes 'Tax information for the 2020/21 tax year' and ii) I can still access the account despite it holding £0. Oh brilliant - muchas gracias. I shall close it then.

Just a reminder. NS&I Income Bonds down to 0.01% today. And it was surprisingly quick & easy to transfer my entire wedge out today. Thanks NS&I! Index shares a few weeks ago would have been a good bet.
Still a good bet if you don't need the money for about 10 years.

You can also set your account to get sms msg when a new loan is posted. Got that turned on. Getting the sms but no emails. Just a thought but perhaps your ISP has extra filtering on stopping them getting to you ? I've had that in the past - though not with LI but I have my own domain managed through an ISP. Some are more stringent than others and is all usually controllable through CPanel.
