A discount of 5.99% is currently being offered on the Access Accounts. That's akin to 1 year bond at 9% with a protection fund! OK, the term is very uncertain, could be shorter or longer, but I'm almost tempted.
Just now (21.48pm 29.11.22), I'm being offered the following
Follow-on from the above these are my subsequent "Buy In Offers"

New figures on AC site added to above, i.e. October's figures, these are the first figures following March's that I've seen on the AC site, they don't seem to have been updating them til now.
Do say if I've made any mistakes above. Thanks There's too many trailing zeros for the "Outstanding Value" row when it's 4sig fig, I'm guessing they're an error or meaningless. I may delete them Small print copied from AC site: 1=Notes: In line with the Regulations we have added back amounts paid to Lenders by the Provision Fund 2=Notes: In line with the Regulations this is stated after the deduction of any amounts ring-fenced to cover expected losses of loans subject to a Credit Event (as described on the Credit Risk page). 3=These ring-fenced amounts provide Provision Fund coverage for specific loans within the Access Accounts - please see our Provision Fund Policy for a full explanation of how this works. These ring-fenced amounts are not counted as part of the main Provision Fund as they are no longer available for use against loans which may default in the future. 4=Notes: This is the value of payments to Lenders from the Provision Fund which have been added back to the value of investments outstanding divided by the total value of investments including those payments.

The P2P landscape has altered markedly over the last few years. The forum bears witness to these changes with several high profile platform failures but on the flip side there have been new entrants and some existing platforms continue to grow their market share. The forum finds itself in an unusual position in that the majority of posts lately do not pertain to P2P (certainly that's the case looking at Recent Posts). Indeed the 'chat' board now has the third largest number of posts of all time, behind only Lendy and Assetz Capital. There are many users who no longer actively invest in P2P but who do like to contribute to other discussions. It does raise the question of whether the non-P2P discussion masks or clouds the discussions on P2P and if so what to do about it? We have considered the suggestion made by the OP here (link), but the admins/mods don't believe the additional work involved in moving the Chat Board to a members only area would solve the issue entirely. However, we are prepared to try a solution which is also not perfect, but hides the content of the Chat Board from everyone and ensures it’s content doesn’t appear in the recent posts or threads lists UNTIL members log in. Thus this is our third poll option, but it comes with the caveat that if this is the most popular outcome, but its implementation creates additional work for ourselves to ensure the public P2P boards don't drift into Chat territory, and it triggers an increase in moderation of the Chat Board itself, then we will review the situation and may either conduct another poll or close the Chat Board completely. We believe there is a distinction to be made between posts on the subject of personal finance and posts on the state of the NHS, for example. We also recognise that there are many long standing users who value the Chat Board and the discussions that take place there. We are therefore asking you for your opinions on the future of the Chat Board and to vote in the accompanying poll. Thank you Admins/mods

Classic "Peter and the Wolf" story.
More Aesop than Prokofiev, I think, but it's a valid point.
This is verging on laughable to us, but I don't think they (Russia Putin) care what the West thinks this is more about propaganda at home

There are 13 under 6.5% in the pipeline. What’s the betting the will not draw down or have their rate increased?
Interesting point. I'm not certain, but I wonder if AC has an agreement to issue the loans at the rates stated, no idea how or if they can back out of it. I noticed a few days ago (on the 6th) that the number of loans sitting in the Pipeline suddenly drop by four* or so. They may come back when they're closer to drawing, but I suspect they might've gone over to Institutional Lenders as so much is up for sale already
*It unusual for the Pipeline Total to decrease by more than just one loan at a time, the last time we had more than one "going", was during lockdown. Having said that it (Pipeline Total) has gone down by one today.
29.11.22 Update on the above - I'm fairly sure that when proposed loans disappear from the pipeline when/if, they do or can re-appear with higher or lower rates of interest

My vague understanding is that content makers produce the stuff to get paid, and without warning pretty much Youtube has changed the model making them completely unviable.Whilst youtube are allowed to do this and afterall the content makers could still upload their stuff without being paid for it - I guess this will cut off this avenue of "free speech"

Youtube seem to be demonetizing channels that concern themselves with Ukraine. Perun and his excellent vids have been Demonetized he says below,

There are a heck of a lot of questions about this. From one angle, it looks like a truck. But from another... There is definitely movement at the bottom-right there, looks like a boat. So a possible truck, or a possible boat, timed to coincide with the arrival of a fuel train!? That is one hell of a level of coordination there. If that was a truck bomb, that implies a suicide bomber, since it was being driven and the explosion was timed with the train arrival. Edit: apparently Ukraine have access to unmanned naval drones?
You're right a boat appears just under the bridge at the crucial moment - but it's under a different section or span of the bridge to the one that's destroyed, it's the adjacent one. The boat might 've been on patrol. As for the bomb I'm guessing it was a driverless truck. If it was a bomb-boat I don't think the explosive effect would reach the higher railroad part of the bridge

Kerch Bridge worries This looks structural Photo from And from BBC.co.uk
The above photo on inspection appears to have been taken from the road way right next to the rail side - the wind seems to be thankfully blowing away from the road thus protecting it - So retreat may still possible but reinforcement is much harder - But the below Twitter seems to show a severely damaged road way perhaps beyond quick repair. I think I can see a large truck either being hit or blowing up it self - perhaps a driverless truck

You need to read the thread (it's not long).
He reminds me of Alcibiades who changes sides twice in the Peloponnesian War
If he really want to prove he's a patriot he can always die in battle then we'll know which side he was on

Same as above with the next new loan
So this is once again a 0.5% discount, On £100 that yields an extra 50pence of this loan for me; so I now hold £100.50 of #1614
