When there's no news, it's bad news. Pretty obvious that there's been serious nefarious shenanigans with these boat/s and numerous people are involved who are desperately trying to extract themselves from the merde, which is why it's stringing out, aided & abetted by parties who are not necessarily aligned with Lender's interests. I can't be the only one who is wondering why this is stupid @bobo, any chance of a short explanation?
I have no idea of the chemistry/whatever involved but I have just googled and it seems a reasonable move to me so wondering what's wrong with the idea?

£25 on £50K, so now running at 0.9% for past 12 months. Next month is crunch time, buck up yer ideas NS & I! Depressingly Dire isn't it. It's in circumstances like this that you're tempted to take unnecessary risks for a paltry few extra % just to cover inflation. It's still Commodities and Funds for me. Even if there's an almighty crash you should, after time, still get your capital back. Unlike #~*ing P2P................

Not in the news, but on TV tonight.
I was watching a programme about Allen Stanford, the jailed Texan billionaire who offered $20m in a winner takes all cricket match between England and the Windies. One of the american legal team that prosecuted him came out with a saying that may well apply to P2P;
- if you want to steal a thousand dollars you need a gun
- if you want to steal a million dollars you need a pen
- if you want to steal Many Millions of dollars you need an internet connection.
