Don't forget what happened with this one, if ever Administrators are brought to account Sounds like a whole lot of mutual, professional back-scratching going on.Yeah, while in bed with each other, after coitus............. I'll refrain from referencing shafting.

Read the initial posting which kicked off this thread.
ONE of the many P2P problems is that there are many on here who believe all the BS from all the Platforms, NEVER wanted to Default the Loan and Sell the Asset, insisting it was better to wait and give the Borrower time to catch up and pay back.
Yeah, sometimes that works, but not in Paretos Principle - 80/20 - nor in my real life experience.
It was blindingly obvious these boats should have been Defaulted yonks ago, just like many, many other Undefaulted Loans on various Platforms.
I swear, plenty of Lenders on here with zero business experience, let alone investment experience.
Were they naive, or greedy, or both!

One BIG and VERY expensive problem is that the Insolvency Practices taking over these Platforms in Administration have absolutely no idea what they are doing, P2P is completely new to them, so they are learning as they go along.
This is particularly lucrative for them because:-
1/ They can charge more and higher Fees & Costs than usual.
2/ Having learned, at Lenders expense, how P2P "works", they can now go to the insolvency marketplace as "P2P Insolvency Experts."
We are being rinsed.

"But this Tory government really, really, really has to go."
Rock? Hard Place?
Who on earth is anywhere near capable of replacing them?
No argument, I agree with the sentiment, but we literally have no other viable choices, IMHO.
It's "The curse of The West" in many/most Democracies, mostly a choice of only two parties, both below mediocre.

"...Remember that your vote counts for THE NAMED INDIVIDUAL........."
Perhaps, but most MPs are whipped to death and scared shiteless of going against their Masters, so you really are voting for The Party when it comes to The Big Issues.

Just had 10k capital written off on one loan on the HNW site no interest paid for three years, as with other p2p sites down to totally unrealistic valuation, time for a rethink on investing in p2p.Also time for a rethink on the integrity of RICS " Professional" Valuers?

"Why they can't disclose this information to us, the public, is a mystery to me, but I do believe it exists."
I had a further think about this, and one possible explanation is that someone in her own extended family has dobbed her in, perhaps they're in possession of emails, texts, phone videos, all sorts of damning evidence?

I am led to believe that the Government has a LOT of information on Ms Begum that we, the public, are blissfully unaware of, and that, if we were privy to this information, "We definitely would not want her back in the UK." Why they can't disclose this information to us, the public, is a mystery to me, but I do believe it exists. When interviewed I have never seen clearer nor shiftier body language in my life, where she is obviously V V uncomfortable with what she's saying, because she doesn't believe a word of it, and the constant looking away and reluctance to look at the camera, well, it's insincerity to the core. I appreciate there are legal arguments about this case and I'll keep out of that discourse. I believe the question was a basic "Should she have been stripped of her citizenship" and I still firmly believe "Yes", you know exactly what treason is, whether you're 15 or not. We are a VERY soft touch in this country and need to wake up, but not woke up.

... ... is there a chance we are on the hook for more than our original Capital loaned out? ... Where is there any suggestion that this could be the case? There isn't, but we who have been battered, bruised and right royally shafted by the whole P2P Fiasco are surprised by nothing that the Vested Interests will attempt to get up to .......................

All this continuous legal wrangling with the various Failed Platforms, and their relentless siphoning off, along with the Administrators, of what little cash remains does my head in, as I'm sure it is doing to everyone else too.
Bottom Line re MT, is there a chance we are on the hook for more than our original Capital loaned out?
Also, it's only a matter of time before someone pops round and has a cuppa tea and a serious chat with one or more Directors of these Failed Platforms, you can't expect to pull these sorts of strokes and then be free to gaily saunter off unscathed into the sunset with your ill gotten swag.

£100 this month on the full £50K holding, which was in the nick of time and nudged me over 1% Return YTD, so Premium Bonds live to fight another day. Or, in this case, another month. (Yes, yes, I'm V aware that current inflation is "deducting" >3% pa, (and realistically a LOT more than that), but we all fantasise about winning The Big One don't we ............ )
