Go through Loan Descriptions and Details with a massive magnifying glass. it's not unknown for there to be, errr, "mistakes".  I met with Ben back in the day and he seems very astute and business oriented, HNW appear to chase Late Payers robustly, and often Default when appropriate. This is most definitely NOT any sort of recommendation whatsoever, do your own Due Diligence and make your own decisions. (Isn't it ludicrous that in this day and age, because of the general idiocy that prevails now (blame culture), you have to cover your backside with such statements, because if some fool makes an investment mistake they can sue you because it's your fault because you said/did something and they followed your comment.) |

No idea if that's a reference to moi, but I am still OK about MT going into Administration. PS - MT Administration was always gonna be very painful, but I would opine nowhere near as painful if MT had remained in the driving seat.  |

And further, regarding masks, there are the dangerous and ludicrous ones fitted with a one-way valve.
I'm Alright Jack beathing in, I'm relatively safe, but it's OK for me to spray you with my Covid when I'm breathing out.
One-way valve masks should be banned, but of course that's way beyond anyone in "Authority" to even think of, let alone be aware of.

It would be interesting to know what approaches others may have tried, and the reaction you got."In this country, I imagine most of us don't say anything because you don't want to get *stabbed, or beaten to a pulp, or at the very least, receive a lengthy torrent of seriously sweary & horrendous verbal abuse. And if you're male and the "recipient" is female you'll get accused of bullying or some other idiot Lefty Liberal Woke BS. This country has developed socially in a wonderful direction in my 40 years on these shores. Not.  ( *In the USA - shot.)

It's a tough old world (apparently) if you are one of the 90 odd people in quarantine in Melbourne prior to the Australian open tennis.

As I amble through life towards the exit, and grow increasingly curmudgeonly, there are more & more people I'd just like to strangle. And if I can't strangle them, then they should at least be charged for breathing air.

"Locking a few of the miscreants up in jail as a deterrent is not sufficient..........." You write good postings brightspark, but it would be VERY sufficient if it was more than "a few." White collar crime goes virtually unpunished in this country and perpetrators know it, so they carry on practically enjoying "immunity". Start locking up loads of them with heavy custodial sentences AND confiscating their wealth and it would have an enormous deterrent effect. (Read "Freakonomics.") I totally agree about Action Fraud, a very grim and ineffective joke. Just like the FCA eh??? |

We are all totally fed up and disgusted with the FCA pussyfooting and fornicating around, for years now. They and the Police need to rev up and prosecute & jail, including the "Professional" "Valuers." I think we are all dismayed at the TOTAL lack of ANY movement on this front, it's not that they're exactly lacking evidence. I'm very aware that there are several cases "pending" but I think we all have a VERY bad feeling about a tsunami of gutless whitewash heading our way. Guess we shall see............................. And remember, the FCA, there to Protect Consumers Interests! (And take responsibility.)

The FCA and the Police need to move on this, NOW, they have a mountain of evidence of numerous "activities", nothing less than prosecutions and jailings will be acceptable.
Oh, getting your money back is acceptable of course, but I'll let you decide if it's achievable.

Y'all now need to Complain Loud and Long to RICS about its Members and their "Professional" Valuations?
The abominable FCA is now quite rightly finally under the spotlight and feeling the heat, and it's perhaps now time to turn the big guns on to RICS and broadside them as well?
The Authorities and the General Public MUST be made more aware of the criminal shambles that is P2P and how various shenanigans are being aided & abetted by "Professional" Organisations that you thought you could, and should be able to, trust.
"Professional" body my anus.

Well once we have paid for the better boats they can rejoin the EU as part of Scotland with Cornwall looking on with anticipation.
Meanwhile our service industry will continue to satisfy only the Russians, Saudi, Criminals etc
