You're going to like this, especially you Queen Vic...... people on site working, car park all marked out and a road sweeping machine cleaning it as I watched.I'm told the car park is opening next week, there's a ticket machine installed so it's not just for customers and the centre is opening next month. I know we've been here before but perhaps finally it will actually open, here's hoping Two years, umpteen broken promises, missed interest payments and meaningless updates and we've got a car park. Brilliant. I know what you're saying but people who've been inside say it looks great which makes it all the more baffling why it's taking so long to open

They still haven't been signed off by building control !!!!!!! That was supposedly a weeks work to comply back in march. It's a farce isn't it

I think we just need to hold our nerve and see it out. I cannot see how any kind of rushed measures would get us to a better situation, in fact I think we would be in no different situation now had we had action a year ago. For the investors getting this over the line, is the best hope to me that we will see a satisfactory outcome. For me thats unfortunately now defined as only a small capital loss. Thats what I am prepared for. A fire sale of the building will see a significant loss IMO. I think we are in this one for the long haul. If you look at even good projects (such as Scotland) getting refinanced capital now is tricky, a project like this... I see it being 12 months of SUCCESSFUL trading before anyone would touch it personally. 12-24 months ago this would probably have been snapped up by another P2P lender, using the same description, now I see zero chance. A good summary. MT are doing the right think sitting back and giving time because the alternative of default/receiver/auction will be a much worse outcome. But it might end up that way, I am in from the start but did not really think about the business model which I now think is a poor one, the building is not special, parking poor, in a not very good area. I am a better judge now. It will be expensive to convert the building to apartments which is the only use I can think for it so for a new purchaser the buying has to be low and a major loss to inverters I disagree with you. Nothing wrong with the original business model, it's widely used in the antiques trade. There is a large on site car park. There is nothing wrong with the area, it's a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The only problem is the borrower !!!

Had a look round the back only an hour ago.Gates locked,2 vehicles in the yard,no sign of anyone or anything happening. More render flaking off the front. Wasn't it march when they said they could be ready to open in a week ? I know a dead duck when I see one I feel your updates are always more trustworthy and valuable than those published made-up fancy stories. The thing is I would love to be proven wrong and for this place to open and be successful, it would help the area. I just can't see it, they've cried wolf too often. The problem is there's no way this would sell for anything approaching the loan value, that's the reason I think MT are reluctant to call it in

No change from the front,in facts it looks worse than ever, like an abandoned building. I tend to drive past at 8 in the morning so there may be some action during the day,I wouldn't get your hopes up though.

Every one of my remaining 58 loans is either overdue,in default or has slipped down a black hole.

Is it just my innate cynicism or have Lendy created the 'private' portals in an attempt to prevent people bad mouthing them on forums ahead of a raft of losses to come? They tell us next to nothing claiming it to be highly sensitive. If anybody can tell me what information has been disclosed so far regarding DFL012 that would jeopardise any future returns of investment, then do PM me. These private portals must be really private, I have seen no information on where to find them

And yet when I drove past this morning there was still no signage and the render is still crumbling. But they have a website so all is good 🤔 Website: "Now in 2019, The ******** has been reopened as a market for Independent Artisan Traders serving customers from food, drinks, antique shopping, art, gifts, fitness, spa treatments and much more." [my bold] Opening Hours' [sic] are also stated... To be fair there is a pop up on the website that says coming soon......soon must have an alternative meaning in Zanzibarian
