collateralrealise your making more on the larger property loans, but bling was a niche that brought you a lot of custom from investors that then often invested in your property loans. Its a bit of an unmet need in P2P and hope you havent ruled this area out in your growth Anymore in the not too distance future?

I came for the bling but have only had £1 in each of the properties since they started in earnest back in January. Having been burned by FS when they transitioned I would want to see how things go for another year or so before going in any heavier. But yes, please, more bling.

I will only increase my overall lending with Collateral if there is a reasonable proportion of bling/valuables to leaven the mix with property, as I have enough exposure to property only platforms elsewhere.

sometimes, I look at the bling as collateral on loan, and I secretly wish the borrower fails to pay back so that I can buy the bling!

The silence is deafening here... collateral could you please advise? (even if it might not be what most of us want to hear!) As it stands I'm just withdrawing any cash that accumulates, on the presumption that you're no longer interested in operating in this field, as I'm already bloated with property loans and am craving some diversification. Seems to me Unbolted is the only player in town these days and it has too many lenders as it is already...

You know the answer littonowl, you just don't want to admit it. There's not enough/no margin in Bling for COLL to be bothered when they want to grow. Property is where it's at, as you know.

FundingSecure also do some non property stuff, but it's hard to get much in. Another option is to look further afield at Mintos, who seem a very professional outfit based on my experience so far. *Now corrected from Montis to Mintos.
