Most airfares across the Pacific are extortionate and it's very hard to afford the "right" cabin! The "right" cabins are normally cheap enough, its the "left" ones that can strain the wallet.

Am kinda assuming I'll miss this one as think I'll be above the Pacific when it goes live Lots of aircraft have wifi these days. You must be booked with the wrong airline (or possibly sat in the wrong cabin). PS - I assume you're not in a hot air balloon Facebook/Google looking to cure world internet access via hot air balloons so that should be no excuse.

Sure there must be more that only invest £100 a time. Thats all I bother with right now. I am certainly in the £100-200 max bracket so happy that Ablrate have set initial limit along the lines that COL/MT do. Not sure I'll ever get to the giddy heights of £1000+ bids!!

Yep, end of BST didn’t help. Morning/afternoon combo lot better, may be evening will help UK workers although platforms typically launch within their own work hours. *Tries to work out time zones on fingers, gives up and orders another cocktail* Am kinda assuming I'll miss this one as think I'll be above the Pacific when it goes live...plus my debit card will likely bounce anyway having toldmy bank I'm out of the UK...but apart from that the bid limits may prove helpful *Goes back to staring at the fading light over the aforementioned ocean* It'll be 01:30 here but I'm gonna give it a go ....... wifi is surprisingly good; well, at least when the leccy is working

Time zones? Nothing! Imagine how difficult it is for us talking animals in Narnia.

I'm not sure if Ablrate have a display function for bid sizes, but on the platforms that do the range of bid sizes is very wide. Anything from £1 up really, I suspect unless its somebody starting to invest or recycling a loan repayment, most of the money that will appear on this loan will just be interest payments or money being relocated from existing funds for better diversity. Or the legendary 'big hitter' (although I suspect they are just large sums being moved around) I would think £100 to £200 would be a fair average. Having said that I have been busy queuing funds up for this and a few interesting pipeline loans on MT.

Yep, little village in north karnataka just now - torch in pocket as the sun goes down! The 'fallout' from the animal population being a real hazard when you can't see your way through it ........... Had an interesting chat with a couple of local 'entrepreneurs' the other evening regarding the idea of P2P amongst other things. They seemed to be of the opinion that it would probably work out just the same as chucking bundles of notes on the fire. But had some rather direct views on how recoveries should be effected! Guessing Thailand elliotn ?

It's always winter here, but never Xmas. Only one wife? 4 platforms, 1 wife and the occasional Islamic investment out of interest. As a non-tax payer I could not afford to swap that arrangement around.

Things have been bad here since Aslan went all Puritan and monogamous on us. Mr Tumnus is under investigation for touching Prince Caspian 'inappropriately' during Greek lessons, and the 'best of all badgers' is not allowed to see Lucy unsupervised. Still a tax haven, though. Now back to calculating 8pm on 13th November. Oh! I've been upgraded!
