They have made £6m in loans so far this week, and look like once again achieving a new weekly lending record. The money must be coming from somewhere. Bonuses to the RS developers for creating such an excellent new site?

A record September for RateSetter and Europe P2P lending with over £30m (42m Euro) matched: Thanks to wiseclerk for collating the data... .

Anyone can get used to anything in time, that does not mean that it is any better. Personally I still think it is yuch and more much difficult to use then the old site, which had absolutely nothing wrong with it as far as I am concerned.
Very much a backward step IMHO, if there was a direct competitor to RS I would be moving my business there, but the fundamentals still fit my needs and there is nothing else directly comparible, so I guess I am stuck with it.
Roll on the next website update, and lets hope the current RS branding mob have moved on by then to somewhere else where their talents will be more applicable and better appreciated.

We don't have to argue about subjective perceptions of the new site. There are standards eg www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/visual-audio-contrast-contrast.html#contrast-ratiodefBlack on dark grey or light purple on light grey cannot meet that contrast ratio standard. Of course such transgressions are all too common. Recent horrors that I've had to use include Co-op bank ATMs and BP PoS card terminals. They should be in the Design Museum as examples of bad design. Come to think of it, the whole of the Design Museum should be examples of bad design. Then, instead of gasping at the latest Dyson achievement, poor design would be shamed and serious designers could learn from others mistakes.

Well I can't log in on either Android or Windows phone. No problems here logging in with Windows Phone. Is it that you can't find the login link? If that's the issue, then it's hidden under the three horizontal bars at the top left of the home page (when viewed on mobile site). Tapping that opens a menu which includes login. Once you're in, however, the display stops being "responsive" (mobile adaptable), and you essentially have the same site as the desktop, which means a lot of scrolling around a small screen. Better than nothing, though. One issue is that there is no "logout" button or menu once logged in (with Windows Phone, anyway). Could be a security risk if you have set the timeout never to log you out.

My first post on here but I used to be an occasional contributor to the Zopa forum and I've been investing on ratesetter since the beginning.
Anyway, I've just tried logging onto Ratesetter and they seem to have changed the format again (since this morning). In particular, on the lending screen it would appear that you now have to scroll down to place your loan and the "set your rate" box is far to small and you can't actually see the figures you're typing in. Is it just me or the browser I'm using or is this a wider problem. I've tried IE and Chrome both with the same results.

Same thing just happened to me, I tried to type in the rate I wanted in monthly option but it would'nt work. Got fed-up with it and just opted to withdraw money back to my bank account. Must be some problem with it.
