How can I change my vote on this thread. Until yesterday I was a 'no real difference' voter but when using the 'tweaked' site on an Ipad mini I would like to downgrade my vote significantly. You can't, the poll is locked. Suggest you email RS directly, since maybe they'll listen better that way .. the poll seems to be judged to be 'the vocal minority'. Maybe, given the way the money seems to be flooding through, they are even right. Hard fer t'say.

Brandboys are usually young, they struggle to see ... Some of them must have damn better eyesight than mine, 'cos they upthumbed pale purple on white.

6.9%? That's an even bigger jolt than the very sudden unexpected increase to around £700,000 available orders at 6.2% in 5 year early this morning. Did one person/entity dump in an extra £400K or so? I got paid....

Excellent.
The RateSetter website is now a full-on dog's dinner.
Good work.

This is straight off the RS website. Big institutions RateSetter
Look after their shareholders Looks after its customers Teaser rates that drop after a year Never does teaser rates Stealth charges Doesn’t charge savers fees Dictate the rates you can have Lets customers define the rates Call centres outside the UK Runs UK call centres Treat you as a number Treats customers as peers Huge bonuses despite failure Doesn’t pay staff huge cash bonuses
High cost FSCS guarantee leading to low rates Has a Provision Fund which, although no guarantee, keeps risk low and rates high Invest your money in complex investments Only invests in UK borrowers Let your money rot in zombie accounts Always provides the best market rate available So westonkevRS was again being honest and direct. The sudden £700k investment in the 5yr market referred to was not from his bonus, simply some loose change from his basic salary. I sit here typing this about 20 metres from RS HQ, might pop over there for lunch and see what jobs they have available.

One assumes he must do, since it happened, and nobody else seems to want it.

RS is rightly independent of trends pursued by other platforms - RS does a good job in lending out my cash efficiently to my requirements (which I often adjust). Strangely, independent RS has adopted the UKIP colours, it seems.

Independence is always an illusion (sorry, Scotland). RS began by building on what ZP did right and improving it, or at least making it more efficient. But it depends more than we perhaps think on the success of the P2P (and to some extent P2B) sector as a whole. A major belly-up could still sink the sector quite easily.
Whoops, I've gone off topic. About that website... It's not UKIP, it's clearly cuteoverload.com ...

Here we are 6 weeks or so after the launch of the new website. How do we feel about it now that memory of the old site has faded and we have all become accustomed to the new one?
Well I for one still get angry every time I have to access it to deal with my reinvestments. I have stopped putting new money in, but I have not got around to taking any out yet. In so many ways RS is just what I want, they have got so many things right. So how can they screw up so horribly with the damn website.
Yes it works fine, no problem there. Yes it is simple and intuitive to use certainly. So the problems are all cosmetic, yes; does that matter?
Well it does to me, call me irrational, old fashioned, out of touch, grumpy, whatever you like; but I still hate the new website with a vengeance.
The colour, the fonts, the wasted space, all the damn scrolling, it's worse than a trip to the dentist. It is a very very irritating website.
Am I alone?

It still looks as if it has been graphically designed by some part-timer. It works perfectly except when it doesn't (see other threads).

No improvement as far as I can see. Yes, I too have cancelled my monthly standing order which fed money in, since sorting it out (manually) when it arrives using the new website makes my eyes hurt. I am still hoping they may fix it, even if just a bit .. what is it with P2P companies and rubbish websites, it seems to be a major plague?! I wasn't expecting Amazon or Google, but something more Hargreaves Lansdownish and less playschool-meets-harry-the-hacker would be nice.
